Warm.

Yes, it's been quite warm in Finland recently. My head hurts because of all the heat, and thus it's harder for me to concentrate on anything. I guess I'm not a summer person or something even though I love being outside when it's warm. Oh well. And it's kinda hard working outside if it's too hot out there, you know. Even though I have a hat on to cover my head from the sun, it doesn't help much, and I feel dizzy after work. However, there's only one day left at work and then I can finally have my summer holiday. Sis is coming here this weekend with her boyfriend if she can, and then all of us might go to the beach together unless something else comes up. We'll see what happens.

Our work days have been crazier every day, and maybe it's good I'll have my last day at work tomorrow, because otherwise the work might become too odd and hectic for me. xD The guys are really crazy and drool whenever they see women, and I find that very amusing. It's just so odd to see guys from 16 to 22 years drooling whenever they see some good-looking girl with a mini skirt walking on the street. I wish I had a video camera so I could tape their expressions when that happens. xD Oh well, work has been nice. Today the guys started to speak of masturbation, Anna Ohura etc. Yes, you heard it right. We went to a nearby kiosk and bought ice cream, and when we were sitting at the table, all of a sudden they start to talk about that. The girl selling ice cream leaned over and listened to the conversation very closely, and I dind't know whether to laugh or cry, because the scene was so awkward and so funny at the same time. As you can see, the guys at work are quite crazy. Well, enough of that, I just felt I should mention the bit, and now I've done it. xD

Many people have posted at tGA recently, and I hope the forums will stay as active as they are at the moment. I wonder when the actual tGA introduction thread will be posted at EoFF and other boards, but I guess that will happen later. The RP is doing well as well, and now that there's just one RP thread where everyone can RP, the place seems to be more lively. It's sad that Rei isn't here to see it, because she had always hoped for something like this to happen at tGA: everyone posting in one RP thread and interacting with each other. Oh well. It's interesting to see how long tGA will remain active, but I hope it stays active for a while.

I think I might go and see Batman Begins and not because of its music or because of its positive reviews or because of people recommending it to me. I might go see it because it's a Batman movie, it has an interesting cast and Christopher Nolan directs it. If I decide to go and see it, I hope Zimmer and Newton-Howard's score doesn't blast my ears away, but I think there'll be enough sound effects noise in the movie so that I don't even pay attention to the music. And maybe the score fits into the movie well. I won't judge it until I've seen the movie. xP At least the movie seems to be long enough, which is always a plus. I'm a bit worried about the way how they might do the action scenes, but the story's more important than action anyway, so I guess that'll be all right.

It seems they'll show Shakespeare in Love this weekend on TV. I've always seen just parts of that movie, and from what I've seen the movie seemed to be quite good. I just didn't understand how the Academy Awards people thought it had a better score than Mulan and gave Oscar to Shakespeare in Love, but once I watch the whole movie, I hope I'll be able to understand why they thought the music was so good. =)

I've seen quite many Donald Duck books being sold, and I think I should save some money to buy those books. There's this newest Carl Barks book available, and I really want to get my hands on that. I should also try to find out if our library has Labyrinth of Evil and Episode III - Revenge of the Sith so that I could borrow those books and read them. I've heard that so many things about Episode III will be explained in these two books, and I want to know more about Qui-Gon and the Journal of the Whills and other stuff Lucas left out of the movie. Reading those books should be interesting. Also, the release date of the newest Harry Potter book is getting closer, and quite many people here have pre-ordered it already. I think I might wait for the Finnish version to get to shelves and then borrow it from the library (unfortunately that means I'll have to wait for a long time, because people usually borrow both Finnish and English versions of HP books as soon as they get to the shelves). Heh, I hope I'll manage to read all these books.

I had a dream yesterday. For some reason I keep having these dreams a lot all of a sudden, and I even remember most of the stuff happening in the dreams, which is strange enough. Well, in this dream I was in some wooden cottage which had some small restaurant. There I saw a former school buddy of mine, Eeva, and we talked about all kinds of things. Then she introduced me to her boyfriend, and the boyfriend told me his name was Jarkko even though in real life his name isn't Jarkko at all. In the dream I was quite confused about the name, and I said his name had to be different, but both Eeva and he kept telling me that his name was Jarkko. That was very odd. Nevertheless, Eeva asked me what I had been doing, and I explained a bit about my job and what else I've been doing. Then she told me how she had talked with her boyfriend about getting married and all that kind of stuff, and I congratulated them. Then she smiled and asked if I could leave so that they could finish their meal together. I nodded and left the table and went back to my table. Then I met another person at the table, and this time it was Elina. She's been in the same class as I am in the university. So, we had a nice discussion, and she told me many things. Then she asked me if I could go to the beach with her, and I accepted the proposal. The next thing that happened was that we were at the beach and went to the sea to swim. There were quite a lot of people at the beach, and we had a good time there, laughing all the time. I was a bit surprised that she wanted to spend time with me instead of spending time with her friends, but I didn't dare to ask her why she had chosen to be with me. After swimming and talking for quite some time we went back to the beach and lay down on blankets. I don't know why, but we kept laughing all the time, and other people turned to look at us as if we were crazy. Anyway, time went by quickly, and we decided to head back home. She said farewell to me, and we left to our separate ways. Then I woke up. So yeah, this was one of these strange drama dreams, and it's always hard for me to find a good interpretation of the dream I had. Maybe this has some relevance to my life as well, but I don't understand why these totally different women were in my dream at the same time. Heh, life is full of surprises, I guess. And now I'm getting confused as well, so I'd better stop writing. =P

By the way, this song rocks. Really. Just listen to the instruments, the singer, the melody and most of all the lyrics. A true classic. ;)

Yours,
Mikko
